Today, USAID Mission Director, Courtney Chubb opened the Sarajevo Innovation Summit 2022, organized by the University of Sarajevo School of Economics and Business [@efsaunsabih] and Economic Institute Sarajevo, together with USAID BiH. This important event brought together leading global experts in innovation with the business, government, civil society, diplomatic, and academic communities in BiH and the region to explore how innovation can advance critical energy security and climate neutrality goals. This Summit could not come at a more important time as BiH works towards meeting the commitments made to decarbonize its energy sector and strengthen energy security and economic stability.
