The educational workshop, organized by USAID EPA, for representatives of the media, companies and institutions from the energy sector was held on March 14 and 15, 2023 14. at the Monti Hotel on Igman. This is the first in a series of workshops that USAID EPA plans to organize in the up-coming period, with the aim of connecting the media representatives with representatives of companies and institutions from the energy sector, in order to improve the quality of reporting on the sector.
The workshop was officially opened by Karl Wurster, USAID BIH Director of the Economic Department, who pointed out that the USAID mission has been supporting the energy sector in BiH for more than 20 years,
which is important from the economic, security and the environmental aspects, as well as from regional cooperation aspects. After this opening address, USAID EPA representative Elma Haveric
presented the Project and the main activities that were realized in the past period and that are foreseen for the up-coming months.
During the two days of discussion about the current state, needs and obligations of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the energy sector, the participants addressed the
specifics of the work they perform and the difficulties they face every day.
