In April 2023, the USAID EPA project organized a meeting of the working group for cyber security in the energy sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

After the preparation of the document “Roadmap for the security of network and information systems in the energy sector in BiH”, the working group for cyber security in the energy sector continued with its activities in order to prepare for the establishment of the energy CERT.

The working group was also informed about the details of the cyber-attack on the company Sarajevogas in August 2022, and the document “Report on the analysis of the attack on the information system of Sarajevogas” prepared by our project was also presented.

The participants discussed raising awareness about the need to establish a CERT for the energy sector, with a special emphasis on the discussion of doubts and modalities of its establishment, the need for education and better cooperation between the organizations.
