Through the Energy Policy Activity Project in BiH, USAID provided donations of computer equipment and software to the entity and state ministries and regulatory commissions responsible for energy.
This donation will improve and simplify communication between ministries, and this Activity is just one in a series of ones implemented by the USAID Mission in BiH in the past few years with the aim of strengthening the energy sector.
“With the emergence of the epidemiological emergency caused by the COVID-19 virus and the introduction of restrictive measures of movement, many institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina were not prepared for remote work. We hope that with this donation we will help the ministries in charge of energy and regulatory commissions to perform their important work smoothly and we are happy that with our help we contribute to faster and better work processes”, stated the USAID Energy Policy Activity (USAID EPA) Chief of Party, Mak Kamenica.
To date, the US government, primarily through USAID, has provided more than $ 1.8 billion in assistance to BiH’s economic, democratic and social progress.
