With participation of all relevant decision-makers in the field of energy efficiency, USAID EPA organized a Workshop on Jahorina, on July 13-14, 2022, with the aim of encouraging them to take steps towards the adoption of the necessary legislation that will enable the necessary systemic approach to financing energy efficiency measures, especially in the housing sector.

Participants discussed the future roles, obligations and responsibilities of the parties involved in the financing model proposed by the USAID EPA team, in order to reach a common understanding of the needs and requirements of the energy efficiency financing model through the energy efficiency obligation schemes, as well as through alternative financing methods.
